What better activity for H than to hula hoop? It also made for a nice excuse to get a fun (and cheap) summer toy. Emma wasn't quite coordinated enough to spin it around her waist, but we made up our own games with it, such as placing the hoop on the ground and jumping in and out of it.
What a cute smile! Hula hooping is surprisingly difficult. I tried to show the kids at the park recently, but my pregnant belly was just not working (although I probably wouldn't have done much better without the belly, either). Kaia was giving it a valiant effort, but without much look. I think Emma's way of using it looks like way more fun.
